BARAMA, June 15 � The Paschim Baksa Mouza High School in Baksa district recently witnessed a unique student �revolt� following the transfer order of its only BSc teacher.
The students of the school were forced to go on the agitational path after the Director of Secondary Education, BTC had issued a whimsical transfer order for Chakradhar Rajbongshi who teaches mathematics and science at the school. The infuriated students demanded a stay on the teacher�s transfer order.
As the students were firm in their demand, the school managing committee approached the DSE, BTC at Kokrajhar, the Baska Deputy Commissioner and the Inspector of Schools, Baksa with an appeal to cancel the transfer order of Rajbongshi.
The initiative worked as the DSE, BTC came out with a �stay order� asking Rajbongshi to discharge his duties in the same school.
