GUWAHATI, April 4 - Pratik Singh Saud, a student of Srimanta Shankar Academy, Guwahati, has been selected for the prestigious Yale Young Global Scholars-2017 event. He has been selected in the �Frontier in Math and Science� session to be conducted from June 19 to July 2, and granted a scholarship of US $ 5,000.

Each session at Yale has around 200 students from across the globe and Saud�s session is having 150 students from 150 countries and 50 students from the 50 US states.

He is the son of Ratan Saud and Kanmoni Kakati of Bishnu Rabha Path, Kharaikuchi near Hocky Stadium, Guwahati.
