BARAMA, March 20 - Aswini Kumar Sarma, a noted litterateur and critic, released a story book, Mahanarit Kaberi, written by Nipjyoti Medhi at a public meeting held at Baksa on Sunday.
Sarma highlighted the latest trend of story writing, particularly in Assamese. He appreciated the efforts of Medhi, a young writer in this connection and hoped that he will continue to write. Ratan Talukdar, Sabin Deka, Tapan Sarma also spoke in the meeting.
Alismita Sarma explained the objectives of the meeting. Md Nur Ahmed presided over the meeting.
