DIPHU, Oct 14 - Employees and anganwadis (workers) of Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Karbi Anglong district have withdrawn their �pen down� agitation after the first half salary fund was released. This was informed by Khirla Teronpi, Programme Officer.
Teronpi further informed that salary and honorarium of employees and ICDS workers have been released. Process of salary is continuing and the employees are likely to receive it shortly within this week, she informed. Replying to a question on the delay of salary fund release, she said that fund received from State government were delayed due to some official process. Maximum initiative has been taken to meet the problem, she said.
