SIVASAGAR, March 12 - AASU Sivasagar, Sonari and Nazira today formally announced resumption of their stir against CAA and brought out bike rallies in their respective areas to generate mass awareness about the allegedly divisive policies of the BJP-led government and also held street meetings in rural areas. The participants of the bike rallies led by Dipankar Saikia and Samiran Phukan went to Desungmukh to organise a protest meet.
On March 13, AASU will hold protests demonstrations in front of DC and SDO offices. AASU also will submit memos to the government to speedily improve the communication network, roads, bridges, educational infrastructure and the beautification works around ancient monuments so as to make the district attractive for tourists.
