GUWAHATI, Oct 8 - The Kamrup (Metro) district administration today directed all small steel fabrication units, factories or units which are operating in the residential areas of Guwahati, to shift their establishments to commercial areas.
A statement issued by the district administration said that the order has been issued in view of environmental issues like sound pollution and air pollution created by such units.
The administration also asked the establishments concerned to get their requisite documents without any delay.
