Earlier, all the guests were felicitated with risha by members of All Kemprai Welfare Committee.

It may perhaps not be out of place to mention here that Demalik or Dehmalu was born to Desangdao and Rihbangdi Kemprai, the great worshippers of Sibarai on August 11, 1226 AD. He was brought up by his grandmother after his parents demise. He spent his childhood under Rangadao and Degadao Daolaguphu, the popular wrestler brothers of the time.

Since his childhood, Demalik or Dehmalu amazed people with his feats of strength and courage in wrestling and sports, besides fighting fierce tigers and enemies. He also helped the villagers to reap bountiful harvests. He subsequently led the local youths towards voluntary community service and guided them with the traditional culture of the time.

He worked tirelessly for the welfare of his people and kingdom. But unfortunately, he could not escape the treacherous conspiracy hatched against him and left his mortal frame at the age of 30 on January 9, 1256 AD.
