NAGAON, Oct 26 - With a three-day long various agendas and programmes of variety, the 22nd Assam State Yoga Sports Championship, organized by Assam Yoga Association, got underway here at Anandaram Baruah Dhekial Phookon College today.
Around 1000 participants from various districts of the State are participating in various style competitions of yoga.
Talking to this correspondent P Bora, the general secretary of the organizing committee, said that a central team from Yoga Federation of India would attend the event. He hoped that such kind of events would encourage the students to uplift their sportsmanship.
