IMPHAL, March 22 � Manipur Chief Minister O Ibobi today said that the State will continue to organise international polo match this year too. Ibobi made the announcement while speaking at the closing function cum final match of the Governor�s Cup Invitation Polo Match (XXV for Men and XIV for Women) on Sunday at the historic Polo Ground in Imphal town. The tournament was organised by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association.
He further said that it was a proud moment for the State to have a postal stamp on �Sajol Kangjei� or Polo last year. He also assures that the government will extend necessary possible support in organising polo matches and tournaments so that international polo teams can participate in such tourneys.
