GUWAHATI, June 28 - A four-member Assam team will participate in�the 30th National U-17 Open and Girls Chess Championships to be held from June 29 to July 7 at Ernakulam, Kerala.
The tournament is being organised by the Chess Association of Kerala on behalf of All India Chess Federation.
Harshita Bharadwaj of Darrang will participate in girls category while Gouranga Sonowal of Jorhat, Mujhyaman Thakuria of Barpeta and Abhinav Dubey of Guwahati will represent Assam in boys section. Sanjib Sarma of Darrang will accompany the team as manager.
