GUWAHATI, May 15 � The Assam State Premier League will kickstart at Diphu as host Karbi Anglong Morning Star Football Club will play against Trinayanjyoti Football Club of Dibrugarh on May 29.
The Assam Football Association has released the fixture of the championship which will be organised in association with the Celebrity Management Group. Nivia is the official kit partner for the championship. Altogether 60 preliminary round league matches, in home and away basis, will be played from May 29 to June 30.
On the other hand, eight quarterfinal and four semifinal play-off matches, in home and away basis will be played from July 1 to 19 and the all important final is slated for July 25. The champion team will walk away with a cash award of Rs 5 lakh.
