State literary pension announced

GUWAHATI, Aug 13 - The State government today declared the names of 43 persons who will receive Literary Pension for the year 2018-19.

The names of the recipients are � Dr Uttam Ch Pathak (Barpeta), Indra Prasad Saikia (Biswanath), Santanamayee Mazumdar (Bongaigaon), Kabrambam Nilakanta Singha (Cachar), Matidev Sharma Shastri (Darrang), Prithu Ram Baruah (Darrang), Nilima Chakraborty (Dhubri), Jitendra Nath Chutia (Dhemaji), Dr Pushpadhar Gogoi (Dhemaji), Guneswar Sonowal (Dibrugarh), Mukut Dutta (Dibrugarh), Jyoti Borgohain (Dibrugarh), Bhaba Kanta Konwar (Dibrugarh), Anima Devi (Golaghat), Ritanjali Puzari (Jorhat), Runima Baruah (Jorhat), Nripen Deuri (Jorhat), Dinesh Kakati Nath (Kamrup Metro), Muruli Dhar Das (Kamrup Metro), Safiur Rahman Saikia (Kamrup Metro), Dr. Bhupendra Roychoudhury (Kamrup Metro), Tarani Kanta Pathak (Kamrup Metro), Madhuri Kalita Choudhury (Kamrup Metro), Nilima Bora (Kamrup Metro), Dayananda Pathak (Kamrup Metro), Pankaj Thakur (Kamrup Metro), Bhuban Ch. Kalita (Kamrup Metro), Sukumar Bagchi (Kamrup Metro), Padma Ram Mahanta (Kamrup), Phani Dhar Bora (Majuli), Bharat Ch Deka (Nalbari), Dilip Kr. Buragohain (Sivasagar), Harendra Kalita (Kamrup), Manjit Singh (Kamrup Metro), Dr Ganesh Pegu (Kamrup Metro), Dharmeswar Duarah (Golaghat), Mahidhar Deka (Kamrup Metro), Dr Namita Deka (Kamrup Metro), Ratneswar Basumatary (Kamrup Metro), Dr Bhubaneswar Deka (Kamrup), Rupsing Teron (Karbi Anglong), Bidyasagar Narzary (Kokrajhar) and Sumanta Chaliha (Kamrup Metro).

The recipients of the Literary Pension will have to contact the Director of Higher Education, Assam for further follow up action, an official statement said.
