GUWAHATI, Aug 13 - The Government of Assam has declared regular sports pension to 40 deserving sports personality of the State for the year 2016-17 of Rs 8,000 per month and 20 sportspersons for one-time financial assistance (ex-gratia) of Rs 50,000 along with a silver plaque.
