GUWAHATI, Aug 14 � The State Govt today announced the list of literary pensioners for 2012-13. It includes Hiren Bhattacharya (posthumously, Guwahati), Tilok Hazarika (Guwahati), Arun Goswami (Dergaon), Dilip Baruah (Kolkata), Dr Usha Ranjan Bhattacharjee (Guwahati), Dr Parag Kumar Bhattacharjee (Guwahati), Giripad Dev Choudhury (Guwahati), Aswini Kumar Sarma (Nalbari), Sumala Bordoloi (Jorhat), Ramchandra Chutia (Sonitpur), Muzammil Ali Laskar (Silchar), Prema Gogoi (Sivasagar), Maheswar Narzary (Kokrajhar), Dr Monorama Borgohain (Dibrugarh), Kumai Kashema Khatun (Dhubri), Deba Singha (Hailakandi), Dr Hiren Gohain (Guwahati), Dr Shamulendu Chakravorty (Silchar), Binandi Ram Das (Guwahati) and Guneswar Sharma (Nalbari).

Those selected for one-time literary award for 2012-13 are Karuna Kanta Deka (Guwahati), Swadhinata Mahanta (Sonitpur), Jamuna Borgohain (Sivasagar), Subal Chandra Mahanta (Kokrajhar), Sobhana Deka (Darrang), Niharika Choudhury (Dibrugarh), Dr Bibha Borah (Golaghat), Hemen Das (Morigaon), Dr Puspadhar Gogoi (Dhemaji), and Anirudhaya Deva Sarma (Nalbari).

The Govt also announced one-time financial aid of Rs 40,000 to Pratima Das (Guwahati), Dimbeshwar Deka (Sualkuchi), Arun Kakoty (Majuli), Nilakanta Borgayan (Jorhat), Boroda Mena (Nalbari), Guneswar Bhuyan (Barpeta), Manik Kalita (Nagaon), Md Sabed Ali (Sipajhar), Nirod Choudhury (Tezpur), Sisuram Bora (Sonitpur), Harakanta Hazarika Borbayan (Lakhimpur), Santana Barua (Dibrugarh), Ramani Kanta Das (Goalpara), Bimala Gogoi Gohain (Dhemaji), Khagen Dutta (Sivasagar), Dandeshwar Baruah (Golaghat), Awasi Basumatary (Kokrajhar), Bimal Mali (Dhubri), Sitanath Rai (Dhubri), Dharanidhar Nath (Udaguri), and Binad Khanal (Sonitpur).

The Govt selected 11 persons for one-time special financial assistance of Rs 40,000 to families of the deceased artistes under Assam Award of Special Pension (Family Pension). They are Nizara Devi, w/o Lt Ananda Narayan Deb (Mangaldoi), Mallika Roy, w/o Lt Boplav Roy (Mangaldoi), Nizara Thakur, w/o Lt Siba Pr Thakur (Guwahati), Tara Choudhury, w/o Lt Gobinda Choudhury (Guwahati), Getanjali Ahmed Nayyar, w/o Lt OP Nayyar (Guwahati), Rita Banikya, w/o Lt Abhinandan Banikya (Guwahati), Suwola Kalita, w/o Lt Rupeswar Kalita (Jorhat), Anjana Sharma, w/o Lt Rajani Sharma (Dibrugarh), Mrinalini Das Kisan, w/o Lt Shankar Kisan (Tinsukia), Malati Rai, w/o Lt Ramani Mohan Rai (Chirang), and Kunjalata Bora, w/o Lt Baap Bora (Golaghat).

The Govt also sanctioned family pension of Rs 2,000 per month from August 15, 2012 to the family members of four deceased artistes for 2012. They are Sunemoti Deori, w/o Lt Bhimlal Deori (Lakhimpur), Nayantara Deori, w/o Lt Moniram Deori (Lakhimpur), Arunima Sharma, w/o Lt Rakhel Ch Sharma (Sivasagar) and Kanduri Choudhury, w/o Lt Bishnuram Choudhury (Bongaigaon).
