GUWAHATI, July 17 � Two State youngsters-Sivasish Bora of Sivasagar and Vivek Borah of Golaghat have been selected by the Table Tennis Federation of India for the PSPB Table Tennis Academy at Ajmer which is the only recognised table tennis academy under TTFI.
This is a great achievement for the Assam Table Tennis Association (ATTA), which is trying very hard in the recent times to uplift the standard of the game in the State.
The players will be provided free boarding and lodging along with free schooling in one of the best school in the country.
The ATTA president Rokybul Hussain and secretary and Tridib Duvarah along with all the members congratulated the players for this exceptional achievement and hoped that this will create a new era in the history of Assam table tennis.
Two other players-Bardy Boro and Abhilash Bora are already in the Academy.
