GUWAHATI, Dec 27 - The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has constituted the State disciplinary committee of the party in view of the forthcoming Assembly elections.
While Vijay Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the chairman of the committee, Mission Ranjan Das will be the member secretary.
The other members of the committee are Bijan Mahajan, Santanu Bharali and Dhira Talukdar. The committee has been approved by the national president JP Nadda.
The committee has been primarily formed to keep a tab on the conduct of ticket seekers and their supporters ahead of the polls and accordingly initiate action against them.
