GUWAHATI, Nov 7 � The Assam Table Tennis Association will be organising the 1st Nagen Hazarika and 5th RG Baruah All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournaments (ATTA) at Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium here from November 9 to 11.

Subsequently, ATTA will organize the 62nd Stag Sitaram Agarwalla Inter-District & State Table Tennis Championship from November 12 to 15.

The 1st Nagen Hazarika and 5th RG Baruah Table Tennis Tournament will be the 8th and 9th tournaments this year respectively.

The organisers have completed all the arrangements to host the tournaments in a be fitting manner.

More than 450 players from affiliated districts and institutions will participate in the upcoming tournaments, said Tridib Duvarah, secretary of ATTA in a press release.

Duvarah informed that Nayan Jyoti Sarmah, treasurer of ATTA and Subhrajit Singha joint secretary will be the observers for the three tournaments. Chandan Goswami and Biman Bhagawati will be the chief referees for 1st Nagen Hazarika & 5th RG Baruah All Assam Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament respectively. Gobinda Upadhaya will be the chief referee for the 62nd Stag Sitaram Agarwalla Inter-District & State Table Tennis Championship.
