MANGALDAI, Sept 24 � SSB team of Siliguri handed a 7-3 drubbing to NF Railway Sports Club in the first quarterfinal match of the Amba Medhi Football Tournament.
In an one-sided affair at the Mangaldai Stadium here today, the nimble-footed Siliguri team took control of the situation from the word go and started hitting the target at regular intervals.
Pradip Das and Govinda Singh scored two goals each, while L Randan Singh, L Dolen Singh and Kh Subha Chandra Singh netted one goal each.
For NF Railway, Raju Singh scored all the three goals to register a hattrick.
