GUWAHATI, Sept 24 � Patna Frontier emerged champions in the three-day SSB Inter-Frontier Athletic Championship which concluded at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Sarusajai here today.
Altogether 81 athletes from Patna, Lucknow, Guwahati Frontier and SSB Central teams took part in the meet which was inaugurated by SK Singhal, Inspector General of Frontier Headquarters.
In the closing function today, Director of Sports Sanjib Gohain Baruah was the chief guest.
Patna Frontier won 10 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze medals, while Lucknow bagged 4 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals. Guwahati got 2 gold, 6 silver and 9 bronze medals in the meet.
