Srinath visits Barsapara stadium

GUWAHATI, Sept 4 - The ICC Match Referee Javagal Srinath visited the Assam Cricket Association�s (ACA) stadium at Barsapara today to take stock of the preparation. The ACA is going to host a T20 match during the upcoming India-Australia series. The match is likely to be held on October 10.

Niranjan Singh Virk, ICC Anti Corruption Manager and MV Sridhar, BCCI�s GM of Cricket Operation accompanied Srinath during his visit to the city stadium.

After inspecting the whole stadium, including the players� dressing room, pavilion, media centre, among others, the former India pacer expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements and said that the stadium is of international standard. In a brief interaction with mediapersons, Srinath said he was happy with the infrastructure and will submit his report to the ICC. Sridhar was of the opinion that the stadium took a much better shape than they found during their last visit.
