GUWAHATI, April 1 � In the all important final of the Elite Group senior inter district championship, for the Nuruddin Ahmed trophy, will be played at the Nehru Stadium here from tomorrow.
Guwahati will play against Nagaon in the four-day summit clash which will start at 9 am.
In the semifinals Guwahati trounced Silchar by 204 runs while Nagaon prevailed over NF Railway Sports Association by virtue of winning toss as the first innings were not completed due to bad weather.
Guwahati has to depend mainly on spinners, Bhaskarjyoti Barman and Bitop Mahanta in particular, while Nagaon has some good all rounders in their rank like Dhiraj Goswami, Bhaskarjyoti Konwar, Bichitra Baruah etc.
