GUWAHATI, Sept 28 - The All Assam Senior Inter District Boxing Championship, for men and women, organised by the Assam Amateur Boxing Association came to an end at the Laxmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Tepesia, Sonapur last evening.
About 150 boxers and officials from 19 affiliated units took part in the three-day meet.
Rajesh Thapa (64kg) of Assam Police and Lovlina Boro (71kg) of SAI Guwahati were emerged best boxers in the men�s and women�s categories respectively. The State women team will be picked for the senior national to be held at Bongaigaon from October 27 to November 1 from this meet
