GUWAHATI, April 26 � Steel Plant Sports Board (SPSB) and Jharkhand won the men�s and women�s team titles in the recurve category in the 30th senior National Archery Championship.
On the final day of the three-day meet at the Sarusajai Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium here today, Services Sports Control Board (SSCB) and Indian Railways came second and third in men�s section while in the women�s category West Bengal and Indian Railways took the second and third position.
The title winners in the compound category were Andhra Padesh (men) Bihar (women). Assam men won silver medal in that category.
In the individual events Tarundep Rai (SSCB, recurve men), Dipika Kumari (SPSB, recurve women), Ratan Singh (SSCB, compound men) and Namita Yadav, Railways compound women) won gold medals in the meet. Yesterday, Assam girl Dipali Boro won a bronze medal in 50m recurve.
