BISWANATH CHARIALI, Sept 2 - Eminent sports organiser and the general secretary of the Biswanath District Sports Association Pradip Borah passed away last night in a private nursing home in Guwahati following cardiac arrest. He was 56.
Borah had fallen sick suddenly on Monday while watching the final match of the All Assam Inter District Senior Women�s Football Tournament at Biswanath Chariali Stadium, here. He leaves behind wife, a daughter and a host of relatives. Borah was actively associated with Assam Football Association, Assam Cricket Association and Biswanath District Referee Board.
The Assam Cricket Association, Assam Football Association, Veterans Cricket Association of Assam, Assam Sepak Takraw Association condoled the death of Bora.
