GUWAHATI, Jan 3 - Well-known sports organiser Bipul Baruah died at the Dispur Hospital today.
The 67-year old Baruah was closely associated with the All Assam Tennis Association and the North East Tennis Foundation.
The former census officer, Baruah was a popular official among the tennis players of the State who shouldered several responsibilities as an official of the tennis organisations.
He was suffering from diabetes for the last few years.
The State tennis fraternity and organisations condoled the death of Baruah.
He leaves behind his wife, a son and a daughter.
