GUWAHATI, March 25 - Events2Sportify conducted an inter school sports program at the Polo Field, Tezpur on March 22 and 23.
More than 12 schools from Tezpur participated in the seminar and sports events like 100m race and a mixed cricket tournament.
The seminar was conducted by the founder, Samitabh Datta where District Sports Officer, Sonitpur, Paresh Saikia was the chief guest.
The cricket tournament, where each team had to play with 8 boys and 3 girls was won by the combined team of Tezpur Govt Boys and Tezpur Govt Girls HS School and the Runners-up were Shankar Dev Bidya Niketan, Tezpur.
In the 100m dash Tanmay Borah and Sanjib Patowari of Don Bosco High School, Tezpur won gold and silver medals in the boys section while in the girls category Konkona Patowari of Sonitpur Jatiya Bidyalaya and Ritu Ghosh of Tezpur Govt Girls clinched the top two positions respectively.
