GUWAHATI, Dec 15 - The Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Assam has provided Rs 1 lakh to former international footballer Debashis Roy under the Assam Sports Development Fund for medical treatment.
The cheque was handed over to Roy by Dharma Kanta Mili, Director of Sports and Youth Welfare in presence of Joint Director Partha Pegu, Deputy Director Antara Gogoi, Assistant Directors Nabajyoti Basumatary, Satyabrata Gogoi, among others at the directorate office today.
