GUWAHATI, April 17 - To clear extra rush of passengers during the summer holiday season, Maligaon-headquartered Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run a special train in the Guwahati-Secunderabad-Guwahati section.
The train will run six trips on both directions, said NFR PRO Nripen Bhattacharyya.
The 07150 will depart from Guwahati at 6.15 am on April 25, May 2, May 9, May 16, May 23 and May 30, while the 07149 will depart from Secunderabad at 7.30 am on April 22, April 29, May 6, May 13, May 20 and May 27.
The special train will have major stoppages at places like Goalpara Town, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Barddhaman, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Visakhapattanam as well as Vijaywada.
The train will also have a number of minor and other commercial stoppages including at Kamakhya, New Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, New Alipurduar, New Coochbehar, Dhupguri, Kishanganj, Barsoi, Rampurhat, Bhattanagar, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Khurda Road, Vijayanagaram, Duvada, Anakapalli, Samalkot, Rajamundry, Eluru, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Piduguralla, Miryaguda and Nalgonda.
The train will have one AC-2 tier, three AC-3 tier, 12 sleeper and two SLR coaches, Bhattacharyya further said.
