GUWAHATI, June 28 - The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) will be holding a special programme on June 30 for disposing of house construction applications pending due to anomalies like submission of incomplete house drawings.
The programme will be held from 10 am at the Uzanbazar office of the GMC, an official release said.
"These applications will be disposed of on the basis of merit and the date of application. The applicants will have to bring with them documents for proving the authenticity of land ownership, land area, land location, etc., besides three copies of the house drawing and other related documents," the release said.
The applicants will be able to collect the house construction permissions that day itself by paying the building permit fee and labour cess through bank drafts on the same day.
