Special train trips extended

GUWAHATI, May 3 � The Special Train No 07150/07149 between Guwahati and Secunderabad (via Kharagpur and Bhattanagar) has been extended for another four trips to clear extra rush of passengers.

The 07150 will leave Guwahati every Monday from May 11 to June 1. In the reverse direction, the 07149 will leave Secunderabad every Friday from May 8 to May 29, said a statement issued by the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).

Free healthcare services

GUWAHATI, May 3 � Rooted in Sri Sathya Sai Baba�s teaching, �Service to man is service to God�, Sai Madhuram a premier Sai centre situated at Rupnagar here, under the aegis of Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Assam and NER, is offering free healthcare services (medical care and nutrition) on its premises every Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm, under the supervision of Dr Gokul Ch Das, Professor, Obstetric & Gynaecology and Dr Puskal Bagchi, Associate Professor, Urology, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital and assisted by other senior and junior doctors.

According to a press statement, medicines are given free of cost (depending on availability). Investigations are offered at 30 per cent discount.

Interested doctors and paramedics who are willing to offer their services may contact Dr Gokul Ch Das, the release added.
