GUWAHATI, Aug 22 - With a view to cater to passengers� demand during the Durga Puja and Diwali season, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced a weekly special train in the Kamakhya-Sealdah-Kamakhya section.
NFR PRO Nripen Bhattacharya said that Train No.02262 will depart from Kamakhya at 8.10 pm on October 8, October 15, October 22, October 29, November 5 and November 12, while Train No.02261 will start from Sealdah at 11.55 pm on October 7, October 14, October 21, October 28, November 4 and November 11.
These special trains will have halts at New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj and Malda Town and will comprise one AC first-class coach, four AC two-tier coaches and 11 AC three-tier coaches, Bhattacharya added.
