GUWAHATI, March 1 - NGO Junior Chamber International (JCI) Kamrup Elite is organising a special programme for a group of underprivileged children, under which the kids will be taken on a trip to Kolkata by flight and given a tour of various places there.
The event, titled �Sapno Ki Udaan�, will witness 25 kids from the underprivileged section studying at Akshar Forum, Pamohi, along with three of their teachers, being taken for the trip on March 3.
The group will be taken by a flight to Kolkata for a tour of the city.
Each kid will be given Rs 500 for shopping at the mall. They will then be brought back to Guwahati by flight that same evening, said a press statement.
It further suggested the creation of a Department of Environment to address environmental concerns such as environmental pollution, garbage disposal, climate change, etc.
