GUWAHATI, Dec 26 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal who was present at the oath-taking ceremony of the BJP Government in Gujarat today congratulated Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and his Council of Ministers for steering the party to power for the record sixth consecutive term.
While congratulating Rupani, Sonowal hoped that under his leadership, Gujarat will script a new growth story for the State. He also said that the new government will also work to fulfil the aims and aspirations of the people of Gujarat under the programme �Sabka Sath Sabka Bikash�.
In a statement today, Sonowal said that the mandate in the recently-concluded Assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh highlighted the growing the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and policies and programmes of the BJP-led NDA government.
