TEZPUR, April 24 � The Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur district, Lalit Gogoi, who is also the president of the Zila Sainik Board, has been awarded by the Assam Government for collecting the highest �Armed Forces Fund� for 2013-14 for the Zila Sainik Board in Tezpur.
The Zila Sainik Board, Sonitpur, collected Rs 6,99, 256 to achieve the first position out of 27 districts of Assam. Lalit Gogoi received the award on April 21 from Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi at the Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati.
