SHILLONG, July 17 - Thousands of people from all walks of life, including Ministers, bureaucrats, policemen, children and persons with disabilities, today participated in the 2nd Sohra Marathon, 2015, here.
Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma flagged off the event which included a full marathon (42.2 km), half marathon (21.1 km), 10 km run and kids fun run.
Kumar, Jomsingstar Ramsiej and Honton Rynjah bagged the top prizes for men while Shyamilee Singh, Darishisha Iangjuh and Habari Warjri bagged the first three positions among women. � PTI
