GUWAHATI, March 31 - Puspa Golchha, Chairman of the Inner Wheel Club of District 324 (comprising the northeastern states, Sikkim and North Bengal), on Friday visited the Inner Wheel Club of Guwahati East and interacted with its members. She inspected all the records of its activities during the year 2018-19 and appreciated the overall performance, especially the efforts made by the Club in the field of service to the needy segment of society, stated a press release issued today.
Yesterday, she visited the school adopted by the Club in 2018-19 as well as the project site �Dikshruti�, where hands-on embroidery training was given to the mothers of differently-abled children. She expressed her happiness at the quality of the products made by the students of �Dikshruti�. The adopted school, named Nandi Mikir Prathamik Vidyalaya, which is located at Sachal, Guwahati, was declared by the chairman as a �Happy School�, the release added.
