Social Welfare dept to handle grade IV recruitment

GUWAHATI, Nov 28 - The recruitment process initiated by the State Government in 2018 against the grade IV posts, reserved for differently-abled persons in different departments of Assam, will now be handled by the Social Welfare department. This was decided during a recently held meeting conducted by the Commissioner and Secretary of the Social Welfare department MC Sahu with different organisations of differently-abled persons of Assam.

Earlier, the State Government had entrusted the State Level Police Recruitment to conduct the recruitment drive, but the Board failed to complete the same due to various reasons.
