Snag in Air India flight

AZARA, May 26 � The passengers of Air India flight to Imphal had to be de-boarded in the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport this afternoon after a technical snag developed in the aircraft. However, there was no major damage and the flight took off after an hour of the schedule.

According to information available, the Air India flight from Guwahati to Imphal was scheduled to take off at 1.40 pm, but the pilot noticed sparks in the engine and all the passengers were de-boarded immediately. There were around 200 passengers in the craft. The engineers carried out the necessary repairs and the flight took off at around 2.30 pm.

The flight reached Imphal safely and it returned to Guwahati later in the afternoon to leave for New Delhi at 5.30 pm.
