DIBRUGARH, Feb 6 - A month-long workshop on skill development programme concluded today at the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Banipur near here.
Altogether 57 unemployed candidates (21 women and 36 men) were selected by the 9th Battalion of the Rajputana Rifles from far-flung areas of the district to undergo the training in air conditioner and fridge repair, beautician & cosmetology and cutting & tailoring at the SIRD centre here at Banipur.
At the end of the ceremony, the participants were awarded with certificates for successful completion of the training, a release stated.
