AIZAWL, July 24 - With six more people testing positive in Mizoram, the State�s COVID-19 tally rose to 332 today.
These fresh cases � all BSF personnel � were detected from among 27 samples tested at the TrueNat laboratory of the Lunglei Civil Hospital, an official release stated.
They are aged between 27 and 51 years, who had returned from West Bengal, and were lodged in the BSF-run quarantine facility at Vanhne, the release added.
Meanwhile, all the 197 samples tested at the laboratory of the Zoram Medical College here on Thursday, came out negative. Those tested included the contacts of a positive case. Out of the total 332 cases in Mizoram, 149 are currently active. The State has so far reported no COVID-19 death.
