SILCHAR, Feb 28 - Six persons have been arrested and over 250 bottles of illicit liquor have been crushed by the officials of Excise Department Cachar during a raid conducted on Tuesday.
According to Sudip Deb, Excise Sub-Inspector, raids were conducted from two hotels in Sonai Road and Ramnagar on the outskirts of Silchar. Deb informed that such operations shall be continued in the coming days as well.
