SIVASAGAR, March 6 - Markarz Academy, Nazira entered the final of the 26th AP Rao-Khireswar Dutta Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament, played here at the Darbar Field.
In the first semifinal, Markarz defeated Holyname School by 7 wickets. Opting to bat, Holyname was all out for a paltry total of 59. Rahmat Ali of Markarz took 4 for 12. In reply, with the help of Kaushik Ranjan Das 27, Markarz Academy reached the target (60/3) in 15.1 overs.
In the other semifinal, Sri Sundarmal Modern School defeated Godhula Brown Memorial English School by 7 wickets. In reply to Godhula Brown�s 68 all out, Sri Sundarmal scored 69 for 3. The final will be played tomorrow.
