GUWAHATI, March 8 - Singer B Bharat has accomplished a rare feat by putting tunes to 27 songs in one hour, at a programme held in Guwahati in front of a packed audience.
The singer achieved this recently at �Nupur� in Guwahati. The live video streaming of the programme has since been forwarded to the jury board of the India Book of World Records.
B Bharat alias Bharat Basumatary�s first album was Bidai Porot. In 1997, he released his fusion music album Antaratma, where different folk songs of Assam, Indian devotional songs and rock music have been seamlessly fused.
B Bharat has taught many students the finer points of music and also worked for several TV serials. He produced the first dance-based reality show �Nupur� for NETV in the year 2000, according to a press release issued here today.
