Simran, Rishita to represent India

GUWAHATI, Dec 12 � Simran Ahmed and Rishita Sinha of PC Borooah Chess Academy are going to participate in 8th Asian Schools Chess Championship representing India to be held from December 13 to 20 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.

The tournament is being organized by Delhi Chess Association on behalf of All India Chess Federation and Asian Chess Federation.

Besides host country India, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, China, UAE, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong are participating in the event.

Simran Ahmed will participate in U-13 girls category and Rishita Sinha will participate in U-7 girls category. Simran and Rishita are currently undergoing training at PC Borooah Chess Academy under Fide rated player Pranab Kumar Nath.
