GUWAHATI, Sept 14 - The Kuki Students Organisation, Guwahati celebrated its 25th years here today. The organisation was formed in 1994. The event also welcomed the new students who have joined various institutions in the city.
Many students of this organisation have prospered in various fields and are now in various parts of the country, some serving as senior officers in government departments and ministries. IAS officer LS Changsan was the chief guest on the occasion.
The event witnessed various cultural performances by the students. Many former members of the organisation were also present on the occasion.
The students� organisation has been actively involved in various activities for the uplift of the students in the city.
The chief guest exhorted the students to excel in all spheres of life and contribute to the development of the community.
She also asked the students to lead a life of discipline and obedience.
She urged all to have the quality of perseverance and to do well not only in studies but develop skills and explore avenues in other employment areas�and contribute to society.
