GUWAHATI, April 7 - Silchar garnered three points with first innings lead against Lakhimpur�s one as the two-day quarterfinal league match of the Senior Inter District Cricket Tournament for the Nuruddin Ahmed Trophy ended in a draw.
On the final day at the ACA Stadium, Baesapara here today, in reply to Lakhimpur�s first innings total of 111, Silchar, resuming at 150 for three, were all out for 217 in 73.2 overs and took 106 runs lead.
In the second innings Lakhimpur were 162 for four when the stumps were finally drawn. The highlight of the Lakhimpur second innings was an unbeaten 100 by Ruhirandan Pegu.
