GANGTOK, Sept 19 - As many as three new deaths due to COVID-19 have occurred in Sikkim during the last 24 hours. The death toll in the State has risen to 25.
Meanwhile, 29 new positive cases have been confirmed during the same period, taking the total virus tally in the State to 2,303. The active cases have climbed to 422. The discharged cases stand at 1,857.
The three deceased include a 49-year-old assistant nursing superintendent, a 72-year-old man from West Sikkim, and a 45-year-old man from the Hungry Jack area.
