GANGTOK, May 2 - The online registration system to facilitate return of people of Sikkim stranded in different parts of the country was formally launched by Chief Minister PS Tamang at the Samman Bhawan here on Friday.
Later, a press conference was convened by the State Chief Secretary to disseminate information about the online registration system to all concerned through various media.
It may be noted that every person stranded outside the State will have to go through the online registration process. However, for those who cannot download the Aarogya Setu app due to unavailability of smartphones, can call the helpline numbers made available in this respect.
For registration, the stranded people have to visit the portal, www.covid19sikkim.org. Meanwhile, the Government has stated that only the State-owned SNT vehicles would be allowed to ply to fetch the stranded people.
