GANGTOK, Nov 14 - Sikkim celebrated Children�s Day at Chintan Bhawan here today. The celebration was attended by Governor Srinivas Patil and Chief Minister Pawan Chamling. Earlier in the morning, they offered garlands on the statue of Nehru situated near Whitehall here.
The CM in his address informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the State on January 17. Cultural performances were also part of the celebration. On the occasion four schools were awarded with the Swachh School award.
