GANGTOK, Oct 22 - As part of the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY), Sikkim Lok Sabha member Indra Hang Subba adopted the Damthang Gaon Panchayat Unit (GPU) at a meeting held at Chemchey today.
Zilla Adhyaksha (South) Tshering Dem Bhutia, Namchi ADC Dr Chandra Prakash Rai, heads of government offices, staff, panchayat and the public were present in the meeting.
MP Subba congratulated local people on the adoption of the Damthang GPU under the SAGY.
